IRISHMAN Stephen Twaddell has landed a tasty role as president of the European operation of cereal maker Kellogg’s

IRISHMAN Stephen Twaddell has landed a tasty role as president of the European operation of cereal maker Kellogg’s. The Belfast native – a 25-year veteran with Kellogg’s – will lead a division that had net sales of $2.2 billion and an operating profit of $364 million in 2010. That’s a lot of Corn Flakes.

Twaddell won’t have to up sticks as a result of his promotion. Kellogg’s located its European head office in the salubrious environs of Swords six years ago and Twaddell lives in Malahide with his family.

Kellogg’s employs 250 people here, at its regional HQ and in the Irish business. It employs 8,000 across Europe, which includes Russia, Turkey and some markets in the Middle East.

It is also set to be unveiled as the new shirt sponsor of the Tipperary hurling team, replacing Enfer.
