A former Irish Life investment manager, Mr Paul Turpin (right), has joined Goodbody Stockbrokers where he will work in the private client department. At Irish Life Mr Turpin was responsible for investment in Irish companies. He managed a portfolio worth more than £1.5 billion. Before he joined Irish Life, Mr Turpin worked as economic adviser to the Minister for Industry and Commerce, as secretary to the National Economic and Social Council and with the European Commission in Brussels.
Goodbody has the largest private client business in Ireland. The department, where 35 people are employed, manages investment portfolios for wealthy clients.
