Ms Mella Moore is the new marketing manager of the Liffey Valley Shopping Centre at Quarryvale, Clondalkin. Ms Moore most recently worked as marketing manager with HMV Ireland and as marketing assistant with Texaco Ireland.
The new centre director for Quarryvale is Mr Kevin Duffy who will be responsible for overall operations and development. He has held similar posts at two shopping centres in Britain. The shopping centre is due to open in October.
Mr Adrian Burke, former managing partner with Arthur Andersen, has become a non-executive director of the auctioneering company, Coyle Hamilton. Mr Burke is currently chairman of the ethics committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He is also a director of AIB.
The former chief executive of the IDA, Mr Padraic White has also been appointed a non-executive director of Coyle Hamilton. Mr White is chairman of several companies including Cable Management Ireland, Schoepp Velours and Arigna Fuels.
Concern Worldwide has named Ms Anne Kinahan as its new corporate affairs manager. She was previously employed as director of development at Stewarts Hospital, in Dublin.
Mr Tim Ivers has been named deputy managing director of Arks Advertising. He has been with the company for more than eight years.
Tall Ships Dublin, which was formed to manage the International Cutty Sark Tall Ships event in Dublin, has appointed Ms Kathryn MacDonnell as marketing and sponsorship executive. She spent six years working as marketing adviser for the Irish Trade Board in Madrid, Spain.
Tall Ships Dublin has also appointed Ms Paula McKeone as project manager. She will be responsible for organising the social and entertainment programmes.
