Ulster Bank has recently appointed Paul McCann of Grant Thornton as receiver to building subcontractor, Breffni Plant Hire, which has been in liquidation since July.

According to documents filed with the companies’ office, the bank appointed Mr McCann last week.

Breffni had been involved in high-profile projects including the construction of the prison at Thornton Hall and Dublin airport’s Terminal 2.
