Open + Direct, the financial services arm of the Viridian Group, has entered the retail credit services market in the Republic after completing an electronic link with the Irish Credit Bureau.

The company offers real-time credit scoring at more than 500 retail sites in Britain and Northern Ireland. Open + Direct has already started trading in the Republic and over the coming months it will be actively seeking new business.
