The Central Bank has published another public warning concerning an unauthorised investment firm seeking to interest members of the public in investing in shares.

The company, Global Asset Partners (Bahamas and USA), was the subject of a similar warning issued by the bank in July 1999 but the bank has become aware that the company is still seeking to do business here.

A notice concerning the company is published in today's newspapers under the provisions of the Investment Intermediaries Act 1995. Since the power to publish such notices was given to the bank in August 1998 it has issued 23 warnings concerning 50 firms.
