UPDATE: To the latest LinkedIn for iPhone:Sometimes all it takes is a design makeover to turn a much overlooked app into something you use everyday. The redesigned LinkedIn iPhone app, released this week, has had a total makeover that makes it look better but also makes it easier to drill down into the increasing amounts of information that can be found on LinkedIn these days.
Support for accessing LinkedIn Groups has also been added, while the search function is much faster.

INSTALL: Shhmooze for Android and iPhone:Autumn's here and after the summer hiatus, the conference season will kick in to full swing. Shhmoze is a smartphone app that allows you to check in at an event, see who else is attending and then "wave" at them informally so you can make contact.
Belfast-based Shhmooze has been attracting plaudits for its iPhone app and now with an Android version, it should become an even more useful networking tool.

LEARN: How to edit videos on YouTube:YouTube has always offered some basic video editing tools but recently it introduced a new suite of more fully featured tools.
Capabilities now include the ability to trim videos, add a soundtrack or remove camera “shake” (a capability acquired through the purchase of Irish firm Green Parrot Pictures).
