The creation of the world in 8-bit
WATCH:So-called "8-bit" art and music, which takes its cue from the video games of the 80s which ran on 8-bit processors, can be tiresome.
This video, inspired by Super Mario, Pacman et al, takes the story of God creating the world and places the seven days into seven game levels. Thankfully, some people have way too much time on their hands.

The history of the internet
BOOKMARK:Education blog Online MBA has created an excellent info-graphic of the history of the internet with the major events for each year since the net went mainstream.
A useful resource even gives credit to Ireland’s Denbis Jennings for making TCP/IP, the traffic protocol on the internet, mandatory on the National Science Foundation’s network.
