Webfactory has become the first dedicated Internet agency to win an award from ICAD, the Institute of Creative Advertising and Design. It won a Bronze Bell for the Aer Rianta Website* and a nomination for the Guinness Hopstore Website** at the ICAD award ceremony recently.

The Aer Rianta site features a fully searchable, real-time database of flight arrivals and departures from Dublin, Cork and Shannon airports. Those long-winded telephone messages can be relegated to the past by just clicking into the site to check the status of specific flights.

The Webfactory-developed software automatically transfers flight information from legacy systems in each airport, to a powerful real-time database of flight arrivals and departures on the Website. A search facility is also provided that allows users easily pinpoint specific flight numbers or airlines. Drop-down lists of flight numbers, airlines, times and dates eliminate spelling mistakes to make the process more efficient.
