Perhaps not the most surprising finding: most Irish workers feel undervalued and underpaid.
According to a survey by Peninsula Ireland, a Dublin-based employment law firm, two thirds of employees said their salary didn't cut the mustard and they felt under-appreciated by their bosses.
Only 38 per cent said they would have the courage to ask for a pay rise, however.
Contrary to predictions that wages were set to rise this year, the vast majority (83 per cent) of employees believe they will not receive a pay rise in 2015.
"If you really think you deserve a pay-rise then ask, otherwise you will often wonder and be resentful when you see others paid a higher salary which is not good for your mental health and wellbeing," Alan Price, managing director of Peninsula Ireland, said.
