Everyone loves penguins; how could you not?
Here they strap themselves to fish-powered jet packs and hurl after a series of grumpy bosses in an attempt to rescue their kidnapped wives and children. As your avatar moves head-first down the screen, you have to survive by avoiding the obstacles thrown in your path – rather angry-looking fish, mines, sea urchins – and eat fish along the way to provide your jet pack with enough boost to catch up with the enemy. You earn bonus coins for completing experiments or goals, hitting certain fish, even though it means the loss of part of your life force, or earning a certain amount of coins. Those coins can then be swapped for items to help you in your mission – a rescue button to help you stay alive, a helmet to protect against obstacles or a more powerful magnet to attract more fish as you dive. Once you’ve completed the story mode, the endless run allows you to keep going, and your biggest competition is yourself.
