It isn’t often that actors can do the rock star thing as well as they can do the acting thing, but Jared Leto (

Fight Club, Requiem for a Dream, Panic Room, Lord of War

) seems to be an exception to the rule. Not that Leto allows his acting career to interrupt the rock, roll and flow of the band.

Very much distinct and separate entities (Leto refuses to play at a venue that uses his name specifically to promote the gig), it’s somewhat ironic – or galling, depending on what side of the divide you sit at – that Leto is perhaps more famous as a rock star than a thespian. Not that he appears to be concerned. With 30 Seconds to Mars’s albums and downloads flying out at a rate of knots, it might be some time before you see Jared back on the big screen.
