Access Cinema, the commendable organisation set up to support innovative movie programming throughout Ireland, will be unspooling its Viewing: Sessions 05 season in Macroom, Co Cork between April 1st and April 3rd.
The event, which takes place at Briery Gap Cultural Centre and in the fabulous Cinemobile, opens with a screening of Éléonore Faucher's A Common Thread (pictured above), joint winner of the Critics' Week Grand Prix at Cannes last year, and will take in a seminar focusing on the work of the Dutch initiative Moviezone, which seeks to introduce school students to arthouse cinema.
