John Kennedy, CEO of Cork 2005, will preside at the opening of "Bread Matters" at the West Cork Arts Centre, Skibbereen next Friday.

This is an exhibition, installation (with a Credit Union Residency on Sherkin island) and forum on the cultural significance of bread, interpreted by more than 20 international artists. Until October 22nd, the project engages historians and artisans, schoolchildren, film-makers and philosophers, with the public forum on Saturday at the Skibbereen centre.
