Every December the INTO publishes a list of seriously sub-standard primary schools. There were 43 on last December's list, nearly 80 per cent in counties along the western seaboard. The 10 below were suffering from a combination of outdoor toilets, vermin, rotting doors and windows and ancient prefabs. The Department of Education may have moved on some of their refurbishment applications in the meantime.
