The Irish Times Book Club is slightly different to others: in our club our readers discuss the books they read face-to-face with the authors themselves in studio. To launch the club we invited three readers: Jo Homewood, Jacinta Wright and Hans Zomer to be among the first to read Michael Harding's new book Hanging with the Elephant and then come into studio to meet the author and discuss it with him directly. It was a wonderful experience and you can listen to their discussion right here.
On Monday, October 27th, we will announce the next book we'll be reading and we want you to read the book with us, listen to our next podcast with the author of that book and at the end of the process take part in a live online discussion.
To be part of this and also receive our weekly newsletter with all the news from the books desk, make sure and sign up for free membership on the right (scroll down if you're on mobile) or on the Book club page itself.
