The antiques fair at Newman House, Dublin, tomorrow will be a combined collectables and books fair, with over 50 dealers participating. Doors open as usual at 11 a.m. In Wexford, more than 30 exhibitors will take stands at this year's Wexford Book Fair, which will be held tomorrow in the Talbot Hotel to coincide with the opening of the Wexford Opera Festival. The book fair will run alongside an arts and crafts fair, which will include knitwear, wood-turning and jewellery. There will also be an antiques fair at the Talbot Hotel, starting from next Thursday and running through the Bank Holiday weekend. In Co Tipperary, the first-ever Roscrea Antiques and Collectables Fair will take place at Grants Hotel tomorrow. Around 40 dealers will show a selection of furniture, jewellery, coins, curios and militaria. The fair opens at 11 a.m. Finally, in Galway antique jewellery dealer, Phyllis McNamara of Cobwebs is exhibiting a special collection of period gems to celebrate her 25 years in the business. You can see them at her shop in close to the Spanish Arch from next Thursday.
