In Monday's editions, an article headed "Diver who gave his life gets memorial" said the memorial to Michael Heffernan had been blessed by Father Brendan Hoban. This should have read Father Paddy Hoban.

In a report in Tuesday's sports pages on the application of the Equal Status Act to golf clubs reference was made to the Equality Authority not having replied to a questionnaire which was sent by the Golfing Union of Ireland. In fact, the questionnaire was sent to the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform.
