The picture of the rescue of the French trawler crew off the Cork coast in yesterday's editions was taken by Airman Karl Cosgrave of the Air Corps. And we are advised that the first aircraft on the scene was an Air Corps Casa maritime patrol aircraft, and not, as stated yesterday, a helicopter from the Irish Marine Rescue Services, which arrived later.
A report on the Flood Planning Tribunal in Tuesday's editions said Newry solicitors Donnelly Neary Donnelly had withdrawn an application for legal representation on the basis that their clients, Mr Colm Mac Eochaidh and Mr Michael Smith, had now been publicly named. The solicitors wish to clarify that the application was made on their own behalf, and not on behalf of their clients. Mr Mac Eochaidh and Mr Smith have not sought legal representation.
