In a report headed "Huddleston, scourge of apartheid, dies" in yesterday's editions, Hackney instead of Stepney was incorrectly given as the area bishopric in which Archbishop Huddleston served.
In yesterday's editions Thomas Vaughan (25), of Kilfinane, Co Limerick, who was jailed for 14 years by Judge Cyril Kelly at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court, was incorrectly described as "a convicted rapist". Thomas Vaughan was previously convicted for falsely imprisoning a woman during a sexual assault.
