In fact, Sonny Leopold JP, Mrs Coss's brother, is alive and well and living just outside Belfast.

A report in yesterday's editions headed "Mackerel fishermen plan legal challenge to Woods" stated that the Department of the Marine had dissociated itself from recent comments made by one of its officials in a Danish newspaper, Berlingske Tidende.
A spokesman for the Department states that the official was misquoted in the Danish newspaper and therefore there was no question of the Department dissociating itself from comments that were never made.
An article in yesterday's editions reported on the High Court dispute between Guinness Ireland Group and Kilkenny Brewing Company Ltd.
The directors of Kilkenny Brewing Co Ltd were given in court as Paul and John Smithwick. This is to clarify that Paul Smithwick, David Orr, Michael Doyle, Jorg von Gitz and Andrew McMeekan were said in court to have been directors of a separate company, O'Sullivan Brewing Co Ltd, in 1995.
The correct name of the party against whom an interim injunction was granted in the Circuit Court on Wednesday was BRK Financial Services.
Where errors occur it is the policy of The Irish Times to correct or clarify as soon as practicable.
