In Tuesday's editions, the "unidentified UN soldier" referred to in the caption to a photograph which included the President, Mrs McAleese, was Maj Gen Joije Konrote, the Force Commander of UNIFIL. The picture was taken during the President's visit to Lebanon in December, 1997.

The evening devoted to the poetry of Paul Celan at the Irish Writers' Centre, Parnell Square, Dublin 1, takes place at 7.30 p.m. on Friday, March 26th, not tonight as stated in last Saturday's listings.
