A court report headed "Tesco fined £3,800 for overcharging" in the editions of July 8th, gave the impression that Mr Garrett Fennell, who was described as a consumer affairs consultant, had carried out a price survey on behalf of the Director of Consumer Affairs and that he had also been retained by RGDATA.

In fact, Mr Fennell, who is a public affairs consultant and a solicitor, was retained by RGDATA alone and the survey was carried out therefore on behalf of RGDATA.
