Irish animator Paul Donnellon's clever and entertaining opening credits sequence for The Life and Death of Peter Sellers (left) is one of the 17 nominees for the Quantel Titles and Indents Award at this month's Rushes Soho Shorts Festival.

Donnellon, a graduate of Dún Laoghaire College of Art and Design, devised the sequence in the style of the credits for the Inspector Clouseau movies starring Sellers. The film, which had its world première at Cannes in May, stars Geoffrey Rush as Sellers, Charlize Theron as Britt Ekland, John Lithgow as Blake Edwards and Stanley Tucci as Stanley Kramer.
