REEL NEWS:The deal-making is already under way at Cannes. The red carpet was barely on the ground when Fiore Films announced that Al Pacino had been signed to star in the film about John Gotti, notorious New York hoodlum, entitled Gotti: Three Generations.

“Al Pacino is one of the finest actors of all time, and will bring an unsurpassed level of reality and excitement to the film,” said Marc Fiore, the film’s executive producer. “We are very pleased to have Al join the extraordinary team that we are assembling to make this movie.” Barry Levinson will direct the enticing project.
