Last week, noting the absence of
The InbetweenersMovie from many cinemas, we stated that Ward Anderson, the nation's biggest chain, were "reluctant" to screen films distributed by Entertainment Films.
Paul Ward from Ward Anderson mails to point out that this is not the case. “[This] is wholly incorrect,” he writes. “We have frequently and as recently as Thursday 25th requested product from Entertainment without success.”
The disagreement between Ward Anderson and Entertainment Films has kept recent smashes such as Sex and the Cityfrom playing in many of the country's cinemas. Reel Newscontacted Entertainment Films and Freud Communications, who are handling PR for The Inbetweeners, to seek some clarification. The response was: "Thanks for the enquiry but we have no comment to make."
