Apparently the Chinese are not all that happy with capitalism, after all. It seems that a Beijing woman is suing her local cinema for failing to warn her that the main feature would be preceded by 20 minutes of advertisements.

Chen Xiaomei is demanding a refund on her 35 yuan (€4) ticket, a further 35 yuan in compensation and a written apology from the cinema owners. It wouldn’t have happened in Mao’s day.
