Festival season is upon us. If you can’t make it to that bash in the south of France, fear not. There’s plenty to see at home.
The Indian Film Festival of Ireland, launched with great success last year, begins its second session on Tuesday at Swan Cinemas in Rathmines. Among the films are Mughal-E-Azam,an epic set in the 16th century, Omkara, a political drama, and Honour Killing, a study of that appalling criminal practice. The festival will also include a Bollywood education programme and a study of Indian film-makers among the nation's vast diaspora. indianfilmfestival ofireland.ie.
