The Descendents, David Cronenberg's
A Dangerous Method, George Clooney's
The Ides of Marchand Madonna's
WE. Although there are relatively few premieres, it presents a delicious array of the best films that have played at Cannes, Venice, Toronto and elsewhere.
Irish interest will be provided by Lelia Doolan's excellent
Bernadette: Notes on a Political Journey, a documentary on Bernadette McAliskey, and Alexandra McGuinness's feature
Lotus Eaters.
