Curious director David Lynch will be guest editing the next issue of Wallpaper*magazine with the equally eccentric theatre-maker Robert Wilson.

It seems as if Wilson and Lynch have gone all out to transform the style publication into a class of multimedia platform. A sheet of acetate will enable readers to bring certain animations to life. A class of “two-dimensional barcode” (hey, aren’t all barcodes two-dimensional?) will allow smartphone users to connect to a series of short films. It makes us feel a little inadequate here.
