Hey everybody, it's time for the perennially unamusing Razzie nominations. As ever, the Golden Raspberry Awards, acknowledging the worst of cinema, took the easy option and got stuck into such perennial targets as Adam Sandler, Nicolas Cage, and the Twilightand Transformersmovies.

Sandler received a record 11 nominations for his contribution to the mismatched-twin comedy

Jack and Jill

, breaking the record set (unwillingly, one assumes) by Eddie Murphy in 2007. This column’s great chum Al Pacino gets a worst supporting nod for

Jack

. The time really has come for the organisers to show a little imagination.
