When Kathryn Bigelow set out to make a film on the hunt for Osama Bin Laden, she probably expected all kinds of controversy. Sure enough, Hindu radicals are objecting to Bigelow’s decision to shoot scenes set in Pakistan on Indian soil.

“They have made Chandigarh like Pakistan, as if it is Pakistan,” Vijay Bhardwaj, a leader of the Vishva Hindu Parishad body, said of Bigelow’s decision to shoot in that city. “We strongly oppose this and we will not let them put Pakistani flags here and we will not let them shoot for the film.”
