REEL NEWS: Two of the big studios celebrate their centenaries this year. If you've been to Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocolyou will have already seen Paramount's new logo. It's got a bigger mountain and it incorporates the number 100 among its drifting clouds.
Paramount’s former corporate partner, Universal Pictures, is also celebrating its centennial in 2012, with 13 classics being retrofitted for the celebrations.
The lucky films include Bride of Frankenstein(the greatest film ever made), Jaws(still Spielberg's best), the Spanish-language version of Dracula(a legendary obscurity) and something called Out of Africa(I wouldn't thank you for it, frankly). Universal's own new logo features a glossier globe and the addition of the words "100th Anniversary".
