Waterford event offers furniture, silver, curios

The annual Waterford Antiques and Collectables Fair goes ahead tomorrow in Jury's Hotel, Waterford. Now in its sixth year, this is a well-established event in the south-east. With over 45 stands, the items on offer range from Georgian, Victorian and Georgian furniture, antique jewellery and silver to paintings, prints, coins, stamps, porcelain, china, curios and phonecards.

Books and collectable paper in Dublin event

Several newcomers will be among the 40 dealers exhibiting at the Newman House Antiques and Books Fair in Newman House, St Stephen's Green, Dublin tomorrow. Ten of the dealers will offer books and collectable paper, including a large collection of postcards, featuring every county in Ireland and covering the period 1900 to 1930. The fair is open from 11 a.m.6 a.m.
