Tuesday's auction of 500 furniture and fine art lots at the Thomas Adam salerooms in Blackrock, Dublin, includes a set of four early 20th century art nouveau-style French wall lights. Produced by Muller Freres, the lights are each 26cms high, with gilt metal supports for the glass above. The set is expected to make £400-£800. Five sets of chairs in varying styles carry estimates between £800 and £2,000, while the residual contents of a Dublin convent have yielded a Victorian D-end dining table (£2,000-£3,000) and some Gothic-style furniture. Silver includes an Irish rococco-style dish ring dating from 1901 (£800-£1,000), and the sale also takes in a 30-piece Clarice Cliff Crocus pattern tea service (£800-1,200) and a V-soske Joyce carpet in cream and pale green (£400-600).
