Additional material for a game is dependent on fans' completing an entire title, then gasping for more. That's how this writer feels about
Bulletstorm, an immensely playable first-person shooter. As well as a fun single-player campaign,
Bulletstormprovided one of this writer's favourite bite-sized games of the year so far. In Echoes mode you play slices of the main game with the aim of accumulating the highest scores by performing ever-more-elaborate kills.
Gun Sonataramps it up: Brawler asks you to kill using only your feet and your environment (fuel tanks, cacti and so on). Other challenges include kill styles (head shots, for example) and time limits. It's fast, anarchic and a fine addition to a fabulously entertaining game.
