4 cert, Gamelion, Nintendo 3 DS, DSi ***
Doodle Fithas established itself on the iPhone and other platforms, and has now also made its way on to the DSi and 3DS through Nintendo's online store. It's worth the investment. As with other versions of the popular puzzle game, the premise is simple: arrange the blocks, or tangrams, to match the shapes in your puzzle. Because of the DS's dual screen, you hold the console vertically. On one side you see your puzzle outline; on the other, the shapes you have to fit into it. You must draw the shapes inside the puzzle outline using the stylus to solve each level. Use all the blocks and fill all the spaces to clear each one. Simple yes, but also addictive. One of the nice things is the fact you can also change the underlying look of the puzzles, from the standard notebook-style graphics to old computer graphics.
