**** 7 cert, Sony, PS Vita
One of the titles in Sony's launch line-up for the PlayStation Vita, Little Deviantsis a slice of colourful, cartoon- inspired mayhem. This collection of mini-games shows what the Vita is capable of, using all the control interfaces – the analogue sticks, motion sensor, touch screen and back panel, and even the camera. On one sky-diving-inspired level, you are asked to guide the jumper through the circles as you fall, using the motion sensor to guide it and the shoulder buttons to speed up or slow down. It's more difficult than you'd think, but that's the beauty of Little Deviants. Another pits you against zombies in a boxing ring. The undead opponents are simply jumping in from outside, and occasionally they have their own weapons (some sort of green goo, a hammer, their incredible biting ability). You, on the other hand, have the ability to tuck yourself into a tiny ball and catapult off the ring's ropes, by "pinching" the screen and back panel. An augmented reality level, meanwhile, has you targeting the enemy Botz in your living room. The levels are short enough to allow you to pick up and play when you have a few spare minutes, but it's almost impossible to put down.
