Start the Partycapitalises on some of the nice new Move features, but it's an extremely limited game. It consists of a series of simple tasks, such as waving a pizza to catch falling toppings, moving a fan to whisk baby birds to a nest, shining a torch on mischievous goats, and giving a buzz cut to a funny looking gentleman. The camera catches your image onscreen and adds an animated tool to your hand (tennis racket, razor and so on). The game is smothered in dizzying, almost aggressive primary colours, shrill voice-work, Dr Suessian imagery and forced whimsy. The gameplay is simple and clearly aimed at children, but a greater problem is its size: within half an hour I'd played all the events. I imagine this will be played enthusiastically for a short while on Christmas morning, then left to gather dust soon afterward.
