Relations between Mark Wahlberg and Mark Damon on the set of Martin Scorsese's current production, The Departed, may be strained by Wahlberg's comments in the new issue of Details magazine. Discussing his own troubled upbringing, Wahlberg lambastes several movies, among them Good Will Hunting, which won Damon and Ben Affleck a screenplay Oscar.
"My childhood wasn't like some 8 Mile bullshit where you go and have a rap-off," Wahlberg says. "Or like West Side Story where you all start dancing and shit. If I make a film about my upbringing, it's going to be about more than a fucking kid doing math, like in Good Will Hunting, you know what I mean?"
