A set of croupier planes from the Guinness brewery in James's Gate, Dublin, will be among the items for sale at the Dublin Castle Antiques and Collectables fair tomorrow. Also on offer will be an early Victorian dictaphone made by Edison for a Dublin mercantile stationer, J.L. Stewart, while among the golfing memorabilia is a collection of early golfing books, magazines and prints.
There is also a collection of scientific instruments - including an 1886 original brass surveyors theodolite with stand - early Irish silverware and a wide range of Victorian and Edwardian jewellery. Opening at 10.30 a.m., the fair takes place in the castle's Old Coach House.
