"It wouldn't be summer without the company of artists and musicians and being in the heart of Kerry where the montbretia are setting fire to the hedges and the fuchsias are lining the roads and where we work all day and play all night. It wouldn't be summer without a golf outing in aid of the project, played this year by the ambassadors to Ireland from Germany, Austria, Japan, Malaysia, the Netherlands and Belgium, who all danced a jig at the opening of Christine Bowen's show, which is all about St Ghobnait on Inisheer Island.
