Spread over two sessions, Mullen's of Laurel Park is holding an auction on Monday with some 700 lots. Items include a William IV (and later) mahogany breakfront secretaire bookcase, with an estimate of £3,000-£4,000, and a French walnut gothic revival buffet (£1,000-£1,500).

Both a William IV telescopic dining table and an Edwardian rosewood side cabinet are expected to make £1,800-£2,200 each and a Georgian mahogany breakfront table comes with an estimate of £1,600-£1,800.
