First public showing for Yeats work since 1954

A new biography of Jack B. Yeats is published by Yale University Press next week (£29.95 in the UK) and to mark this event, author Bruce Arnold will be giving a lecture on the artist in Waterstone's bookshop on Dawson Street, Dublin. This takes place at 6 p.m. next Wednesday, when a Yeats picture, A Son of the Claddagh will be shown in public for the first time since 1954. Admission to the lecture is free and A Son of the Claddagh will be included in a de Vere's sale of Irish art in November.
