The notion of the famous art- circus Cirque du Soleil spinning their fantastical webs around the music of The Beatles was anathema to fans when first mooted. A couple of years on, and now firmly ensconced in Las Vegas's Mirage Hotel as one of the city's must-see shows, Lovehas proven the naysayers wrong. This insightful documentary doesn't necessarily wave the flag for the show itself (nor, indeed, for the Lovealbum). Rather, it tracks the development of the show, from open rehearsals to candid interviews, from talking heads such as Paul, Ringo and Yoko, the show's creator (Guy Laliberte) and the show's director (the surely-not!-named Dominic Champagne) to backing dancers and musical executive Giles Martin (son of George, famed Beatles producer).
