Co Down’s Two Door Cinema Club take to Dublin’s Fairview Park this Saturday, June 22nd. The band, who mix guitar-driven hooks with a dancey, electronic polish, have had hits since 2010 with their album Tourist History which featured singles What You Know, Something Good Can Work and Undercover Martyn.
Since then, they have produced a hat trick of records of equal merit, having global success with Beacon (2012), Gameshow (2016) and False Alarm (2019). In 2022, the band released their fifth studio album Keep on Smiling which adopted a freer, more collaborative approach to the creative process.
So, if you are going to see Two Door Cinema Club this Saturday, keep reading to find out everything you need to know.

What’s the story with security?
Under-16s must always be accompanied by someone over 25. Unaccompanied under-16s will be refused entry without a refund. Bring your passport, Garda age card or driving licence as evidence of your date of birth as strict age monitoring will be in place.
Allow time for security checks on the way in. Bags larger than A4 size will not be permitted and all bags may be searched, and this can be time-consuming, so consider going bagless for easier entry. There will be no cloakroom or storage facilities.
No umbrellas, alcohol, garden furniture, selfie sticks, flares, glasses or cans, among other items, will be allowed into the event. There are no readmissions to the concert, so once you leave there’s no getting back in.
Can I take photographs at the concert?
Yes, but with a smartphone or small digital camera. Professional cameras with a detachable lens and any other recording devices are banned.
What’s the weather forecast?
At the time of writing, there is no rain forecast on Saturday evening in Fairview, and temperatures are expected to be between 13-19 degrees with cloudiness.
The concert will take place under canvas, but remember that Fairview Park is a standing only venue on grass, so dress accordingly for Irish weather; think wellies, boots or runners, layers, raincoats/ponchos and sun cream, but no umbrellas.
