That Tinie Tempah can produce brash and breezy urban hits has been proven with the tunes Pass Outand Frisky.Like Dizzee Rascal, who you could say has provided the whippersnapper rapper with a career template, Tempah also has his underground grime credentials in check, so that's another box ticked. The question now is, can Tempah take it to another level? His main strength is that super-fast, on-point flow and cocky, audacious confidence, both perfectly in tune with the infectious, pop-crossover shape of certain tracks (see Simply Unstoppable). The problems come when Tempah over-eggs the pudding by trying his hand at everything from mismatched ska (the atrocious Snap)to clunky rock.
