MUSIC NEWS: The full details of Crawdaddy’s Independence Month have been revealed

MUSIC NEWS:The full details of Crawdaddy's Independence Month have been revealed. The Dublin venue is giving the month of January over to various independent labels and organisations, who will host a series of live shows that showcase the artists they hope will make an impact in 2012.

The series kicks off tonight, with Belfast label Smalltown America bringing Fighting With Wire, LaFaro, Former Monarchs, Wiltz and Our Krypton Son south of the border for one night only. On Saturday, January 21st, Delphi and Bluestack Records join forces, with live sets by The Debutantes and Hush War Cry and DJ sets by Go Panda Go and Sacred Animals. The series continues on January 27th with the launch of the Quarter Inch Collective's Quompilation #2while January 28th sees the launch of Popical Island band the Walpurgis Family's new album.
