Grace Jones and her band will perform for one night in Dublin this autumn.

The singer – who last appeared in Ireland when she headlined at the Electric Picnic last year – will play the Olympia Theatre on September 21st. The concert will be filmed to feature in the documentary Grace Jones – The Musical of My Life. The film is directed by Sophie Fiennes (Hoover Street Revival, The Pervert's Guide to the Cinema, The Pervert's Guide to Ideology) and co-produced by Katie Holly of Irish company Blinder Films (Love & Friendship, The Queen of Ireland).

Fiennes and Jones have been working on the documentary since 2005 and it is due for general release in 2017.

The show will also feature DJs from Dublin nightclub Mother.
