They’ll team up with the show again on Wednesday, February 16th, at 7.30pm when Gemma Hayes, Pearse McGloughlin and Duncan Maitland play live on the show, alongside jazz band The Alex Mathias Perspective and other acts.

"These regular shows with Arenaare great," said Nighthawks co-founder Stephen Kennedy. "They give us a chance to present emerging artists to a much wider audience, and Arenahave been very supportive of Nighthawks from the start."

The collective will also put on a gig at the Project Arts Centre as part of the Dublin Book Festival on March 5th, with music from trad-fusion band Túcan and comedy from various performers, while the next Nighthawks at the Cobalt gig – which sells out, so purchasing advance tickets from Oxfam on Parliament Street is advised – takes place on February 12th, with musician Pearse McGloughlin, comedian Kevin Gildea, and poet Leanne O’Sullivan. tinyurl.com/ nighthawkscobalt
